Quick and Easy Dollar Tree Christmas Wreath

See how I created this stunning Christmas wreath in no time with just a few affordable supplies from Dollar Tree and the fabric store! This wreath brings rustic charm and holiday cheer to your home without breaking the bank.

Supplies Needed:

  • 14” Wire Wreath Frame (Dollar Tree)

  • 10” Round Sign or Wooden Circle

  • Glue (E6000 and hot glue work best!)

  • Wood Bead Wreath (Dollar Tree)

  • Torn Strips of Christmas Fabric

That's it—just a handful of simple supplies for a wreath full of holiday magic!

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Sign

    • I purchased an 10” pre-printed Christmas ornament sign from Dollar Tree. These signs are already adorable, but I removed the metal cap at the top (save it—it’s perfect for another craft project!) and cut the top to create a perfect circle.

  • Get Crafty with Fabric Strips

    • I love tearing fabric strips—it’s so satisfying and adds a rustic, homespun vibe to the edges of the fabric. If tearing isn’t your style, feel free to cut them instead. Each strip should be about 1” wide by 11” - 12” long. Choose festive prints like plaid, snowflakes, or classic red and green for that holiday feel.

  • Assemble the Wreath Base

    • Start by tying the fabric strips onto the second ring of the wire wreath frame. Simply fold a strip in half, loop it around the ring, and pull the ends through. Keep adding strips until each section of the wreath frame is nice and full.  I used about 14–16 strips per section. The result is a fluffy, cozy wreath base that looks like Christmas came to town!

  • Attach the Circle Sign

    • Now it’s time to add your focal point. Use a combination of E6000 (for a strong hold) and hot glue (for a quick set) to secure the 8” circle to the center of the wreath frame. If you can’t find a pre-printed sign, no worries! A plain wooden circle from Hobby Lobby or Amazon works just as well—add your own festive design or quote with paint or vinyl decals.

  • Add the Finishing Touch—Wood Bead Wreath

    • I was thrilled to find a round wood bead wreath at Dollar Tree that fit perfectly over my sign! It adds a touch of elegance and dimension to the design. If you can’t find one, get creative—wrap jute rope around the circle or hot glue half wooden beads for a similar effect.

Final Touches

  • I added a hanger to the back of my Dollar Tree Christmas Wreath using a 8” to 10” piece of jute rope and two small squares of cardboard.

  • Hot glue the jute rope to the back of your circle and add a small square of cardboard on top. This helps the jute rope from slipping out of the hot glue!

Stand back and admire your work! This wreath is bursting with charm and ready to welcome your holiday guests. Hang it on your front door or gift it to a friend—it’s sure to spread Christmas cheer wherever it’s displayed.

Extra Tips for a Festive Flair:

  • Experiment with fabric patterns to match your holiday decor theme—think buffalo check for a farmhouse look or metallic gold for something glam.

  • Add embellishments like mini ornaments, bells, or sprigs of faux holly for extra pizzazz.

  • Share your wreath creations on social media and tag me—I’d love to see your festive designs!
