Need to be uplifted today - let's make a month of inspiration cards

While I was cleaning out a box of old scrapbooking supplies, I found an acrylic recipe holder from Maya Road. I have no idea how long I have had this or even where I purchased this item. It came with clips and cardboard file dividers. One of my goals for August crafting, is to use items that I already have. Also, to use items that I have but never use!!!

I started thinking that this acrylic recipe holder would make a great “31 days of Inspiration” holder. I wanted this to be a simple project and use things that everyone will probably have around their house like: glue sticks, magazines, old book paper, tissue, and markers. The possibilities are endless.

I wanted to find a way to inspire me to create something everyday. These cards are so easy to make. I usually set a timer for about 15-20 minutes and browse through a magazine, tear out pages and start gluing thing down.

The Discover Inspiration card above I made while my granddaughter was coloring. She colored and glued on construction paper while I made my card for the day. I used Crayola markers (because they were handy) to add a few dots, dashes and marks on the card.

I hope that you will join me for this Creative Challenge and make an Inspiration Card everyday. This is a great way to practice your doodling, different color combinations and use those items that you’ve purchased but never used!
